How to Lose/waste money by using adsense..A story about hosting.india.to

Today I saw one ad for hosting on statcounter site. The ad was  displayed by google using their adsense system and I wanted to check out the details. I clicked on ad and nothing happened. I clicked on it again ( does it count as a single click or multiple click. I think it will be counter as single click only). Again nothing. Then I clicked it third time and I got a message. hosting.india.to could not be found. So it seems like the site was not reachable. So I directly pinged the site and it also returned the message that host not found. So a site which provides hosting itself couldn’t be found. How funny/ironical is that.  Here is the image for the ad for hosting.india.to

Now I really wanted to test the services of hosting.india.to so I searched in google for hosting.india.to. Sure enough it was there mentioned on the 1st place. Not even it was mentioned there but google was showing extended results for it. It means it must have some respectability in eyes of google. Sure enough it was a highly ranked site since google was showing PR5 rating for it. But the rest of the site didn’t have that much ranking. So it must be possible to rank for this term ie hosting.india.to on the first page. I think there is no need for black hat SEO if you optimize your pages properly. I can vouch for this sentence since from the past few days I am trying to rank for Car Hire in Malad and sure enough it is jumping ahead in SERPs. One of my another terms is “Savitha Babhi” , a common misspelling of our beloved “savita bhabhi” which is also inching up daily on Google SERPs. Ok. I have digressed a bit. Back to our hosting.india.to ad.

So basically I don’t know how the services of hosting.india.to is and I couldn’t have a look at their website since it wasn’t accessible to me. Btw I tried to find out who the owner is of hosting.india.to. So I did a whois of india.to and it pointed the DNS to india-to.net. I tried the whois for india-to.net and it showed that Mr. Pushpendra Singh of Jaipur is owner of the domain name india-to.net . But the email mentioned the name pushpendra rathore. And sure enough on the sixth position on google for the term hosting.india.to there was a name “Vibhu Rathore”. Seems like she has posted a thread on digitalpoint forums for hosting.india.to package and asked to book domains fast and make payment before 26 december.

So this was a bried story of hosting.india.to. Btw there isn’t any mention of losing money by using adsense. I am not sure if google counts the ad to be clicked if the target is not reachable. But it google counts it as a hit then obviously hosting.india.to must be losing some good money. Not a good way to go for adwrods advertising. Now don’t point out that the adwrods has been misspelled. The adwords spelling is there for reason as is the term “Savitha Babhi” here once again.
